Jewher Ilham

Jewher Ilham is the Forced Labor Project Manager at the WRC. She represents the WRC on the steering committee of the Coalition to End Forced Labour in the Uyghur Region. She is the author of two books, Jewher Ilham: A Uyghur’s Fight to Free Her Father and Because I Have To: The Path to Survival, the Uyghur Struggle, and a co-producer and protagonist of the award-winning documentary film All Static and Noise. She has Bachelor of Arts degrees from Indiana University in Political Science, Near Eastern Culture and Language Studies, and Central Eurasian Studies.
