New Era Cap Company

The complaint alleged that New Era failed to comply with WRC and university Codes of Conduct, and with applicable labor and employment laws, in three general areas: health and safety, age and disability discrimination, and freedom of association and collective bargaining.

In November, New Era Cap Company (New Era) announced that they would be shuttering their Derby, New York production facility. With the closure of the factory, which is set for next month, 200 workers stand to lose their jobs, with few prospects of finding similar employment.
