Rola Abimourched

Rola Abimourched is the Deputy Director for Investigations and Gender Equity and is part of the management team. She oversees the WRC’s factory investigations and the organization’s approach to gender equity. She manages the labor rights monitoring program in Ethiopia and Lesotho. Rola also provides support in the form of report writing and brand engagement on labor rights violations occurring in countries where the WRC works. Prior to joining the WRC, Rola was an Investments Manager with Humanity United, where she led and managed a diverse portfolio of grants addressing forced labor and labor exploitation. She completed her MA at Georgetown University with a focus on labor migration and gender and speaks Arabic.
